Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor in Architecture at Queen’s University Belfast with a PhD in Sustainable Urban Development from Trinity College Dublin (2014), a Post-graduate Certificate in Higher Education Teaching from QUB (2014), a Professional Certificate in Architectural Practice from University College Dublin (UCD) (2007), BArch from UCD (2004) and a BScArch from UCD (2001). Research expertise in codesign methods and practices for sustainable design of the built environment with findings disseminated through peer-reviewed textual publications, conferences, exhibitions, installations, buildings, workshops and events. Registered project architect who has designed and managed the construction of adaptive reuse and new build projects that promote the sustainable development agenda, including social housing, public libraries and specialist offices.
