My PhD was on the evolution, population structure and molecular phylogeny of surgeonfishes (Acanthuridae).
My research explores behavioural, evolutionary and ecological patterns and processes using marine organisms as model systems. I employ molecular and genomic tools to investigate a wide range of evolutionary processes, including evolutionary phylogenetic relationships, phylogeography, species diversification, and population connectivity.
