Oliver Metcalf is a conservation scientist with interests spanning ornithology, ecoacoustics, tropical ecology, and land-use change. He has a broad range of experience, having worked as an ecological consultant and ornithological surveyor across the UK for six years, and is now undertaking a PHD studying the use of acoustic monitoring and machine-learning to increase our understanding of Amazonian fauna.
