Associate Professor, Monash University

I am an isotope geochemist and geochronologist. This means that I measure the difference in weights of individual atoms and use these to calculate an absolute age of a rock or mineral. Sounds complicated, and well, it is; ...and even works most of the time.

I studied and learned my trade in Muenster, Germany, and now live and work (in that order) in Melbourne, Australia.
