Research Director in Earth Sciences, Université Grenoble Alpes (UGA)

Olvier Vidal is CNRS Research Director at the Institute of Earth Sciences (ISTerre) at Joseph Fourier University, Grenoble. He is interested in using thermodynamic modelling of geological processes to better understand the Earth's dynamics. He has also worked on the ageing of radioactive waste.

Olivier Vidal is currently Special Adviser to l'Institut National des Sciences de l'Universe.
