Oswelled Ureke

Oswelled Ureke is a lecturer in the Department of Media and Society Studies at Midlands State University in Zimbabwe. He is also a post-doctoral research fellow in the Department of Communication Studies at University of Johannesburg, South Africa. His PhD study at University of KwaZulu Natal, was on Zimbabwe’s film industry. Oswelled has published several articles in peer-reviewed, internationally accredited journals and books, in addition to presenting at various international conferences. He is also actively engaged in video production in various technical capacities.
