Pan Mohamad Faiz Kusuma Wijaya

Pan Mohamad Faiz Kusuma Wijaya is a current Australia Development Scholar pursuing his PhD on
Constitutional Law at TC Beirne School of Law, the
University of Queensland, Australia. He has been working as 
a Researcher and Judicial Assistant to the Chief Justice of the Indonesian Constitutional Court since 2005. Faiz was the National President of Indonesian Students Association of Australia (PPI Australia) 2013/2014 and presently the Chairman of Overseas Indonesian Students Association Alliance (OISAA – PPI Dunia).

He is a Manager at Jimly School of Law and Government (JSLG) under the leadership of the first and the former Chief Justice of Indonesian Constitutional Court, Professor Jimly Asshiddiqie. Presently, he is also the Executive Secretary of the Expert Council of Indonesian Legal Scholars Association (ISHI). In 2012 he became a Research Scholar at the Centre for Public, International and Comparative Law (CPICL) at the University of Queensland, Australia.

Faiz completed his Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Indonesia and Master of Comparative Laws degree, concentrating in comparative constitutional law, from the University of Delhi where he was fully supported by ICCR Scholarship. He has been a Guest Lecturer on constitutional law at the Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia and other Indonesian legal institutions since 2008. Early 2012 the U.S. Department of State awarded Faiz a premier professional exchange program known as the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) in the United States of America. In addition, Faiz was selected as one of young leaders representing Indonesia at the first Conference of Australian and Indonesian Youth (CAUSINDY) in Canberra, Australia in 2013.
