Lecturer in Economics, Keele University

I joined Keele University in January 2012 as a lecturer in economics. I have previously worked as a lecturer in economics at the University of the West of England and Swansea and Staffordshire Universities.

I hold a BA and MA in economics from Staffordshire University and a PhD in economics form Keele University and my research interests are in labour economics, human and social capital and social networks. I have in the past collaborated on projects for the UK Low Pay Commission on the impact of minimum wages on society, which is another area of research interest and experience of mine. My PhD studies where partly funded by the Staffordshire Learning & Skills Council where I carried out research and advised on post 16 education funding decisions.
