Assistant Research Professor of Bioclimatology, Columbia University

I am a bioclimatologist whose research straddles climatology and ecology. My specific interests focus on climate variability and change, and how these processes impact the living world. I want to improve understanding of drought and its effects on terrestrial systems, including ecosystems, the carbon cycle, agriculture, and humanity. My ultimate goal is to advance scientific knowledge in ways relevant and interesting to the public and policy makers.
