B. Parker Ellen III

Assistant Professor of Management, Mississippi State University

I explore topics related to social influence, most often through the lenses of organizational politics, leadership, or the intersection of the two. My work has been published in a number of outlets, including Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management, Journal of Organizational Behavior, The Leadership Quarterly, and Annual Review of Organizational Psychology and Organizational Behavior. Prior to my academic career, I spent nearly a decade with a consulting engineering firm with more than 50 offices across the United States. During that time, I served in a variety of project, office, regional, and firm-wide management roles.
