Paru R Shah

Paru Shah is an associate professor of political science at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. Her research focuses on race and politics, urban politics and public policy within an American context. Much of her recent work focuses on the political emergence and ambitions of racial/ethnic minority candidates in local and state elections.
