Professor of Biomedical Science and Head of Biomedical Environmental Health Research, De Montfort University

Parvez Haris is the Professor of Biomedical Science at De Montfort University, Leicester, United Kingdom. His research interest is directed at addressing global challenges including water pollution, food safety, diet, nutrition and public health. He leads the Biomedical and Environmental Health Research Group at De Montfort University. Parvez completed his PhD in Biochemistry in 1989 at the Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine, University of London. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry and he is also a Fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health.
