Associate lecturer, University of Salford

I have been a HPA at the University of Salford since September 2017. Before this, I completed a PhD in History at the University of Leeds - funded by a School of History scholarship. My research focuses on the development of Britain's intelligence and security apparatus between 1909 and 1939. It incorporates many of the methodological approaches of intelligence studies, specifically the notion of intelligence networks to a broader review of British intelligence history.
