Dr Paul Formosa is Head of Department and Professor in Philosophy at Macquarie University and Co-Director for the Macquarie University Ethics and Agency Research Centre. Paul has been at Macquarie University since 2009, and has been a Macquarie University Research Fellow, an Australian Research Council DECRA Fellow, and a chief investigator on various ARC Discovery Projects. Paul has published widely on topics in moral and political philosophy, with a particular focus on Kant's moral and political philosophy, moral evil, moral psychology, human dignity, philosophy and technology, and the ethics of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and video games. Paul is the author of over seventy publications with leading international presses such as Oxford University Press and in leading international journals.
