Paul graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2012. After several years working as a doctor in Ireland, he relocated to Melbourne, Australia to continue his training. He is an advanced trainee in Infectious Diseases and Microbiology at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and Victorian Infectious Disease Reference Laboratory.
