Adjunct professor, University of Canterbury

I am a leading museum-based scientist, museum curator, and science educator. I maintain an extensive network of collaborators, have a strong record in attracting research funding, and an extensive record of publishing and communicating the outcomes of research. I have more than 20 years collection-based systematic research experience and have recently specialized in the analysis and interpretation of molecular systematic and Miocene Avian Palaeontology. Through my position as Adjunct Professor in Te Kura Aronukurangi the School of Earth and Environment at The University of Canterbury I teach at undergraduate and graduate level and supervised students completing masters and doctoral theses. I am involved in research and teaching involving mātauranga Māori
