Pauline Taylor-Guy

Professor Pauline Taylor-Guy is the Director of the ACER Institute and Centre for School and System Improvement. She had oversight of ACER’s school and system improvement work, postgraduate and professional learning courses in Australia and internationally. She has over 30 years’ leadership experience in school and teacher education.

Prior to joining ACER in early 2016, Professor Taylor-Guy held a range of academic leadership roles in the Higher Education sector. She has an extensive publication record in the scholarship of teaching and learning and a particular interest in professional learning, equity and education policy. She is the recipient of various teaching and research awards including an ALTC citation for outstanding contribution to student learning (2008). She continues to provide expert review for prestigious education journals and organisations. She was the elected secretary of the Australian Teacher Education Association for almost a decade and is a life member of the volunteer teacher education organisation, Teachers Across Borders.
