Pedro Alejandro Ruiz Ortiz

Degree in Geology (1975), PhD in Geological Sciences (1980), teaching at the University of Granada in Jaén, from 1976, and the University of Jaén from 1993, reached the job of Catedrático de Estratigrafía in December 1990. He has the maximum number of recognised research sections, 6 in total, which corresponds to 36 years of research with a satisfactory performance at the institutional level. He has published numerous articles and book chapters, many of them in high impact journals such as Sedimentology, Sedimentary Geology, Marine and Petroleum Geology, Facies, Bulletin of the Geological Society of France and publishers such as The Geological Society, Springer, Elsevier, among others.
