Pete Norman

Pete Norman is the Ben Pimlott Writer in Residence for 2015. Norman works for Bloomberg Media and is the European news editor for Bloomberg.com. Previously he was a news editor, chief sub-editor and web producer with Sky News, working across digital and TV platforms. A former Time Inc. deputy bureau chief, Pete has reported from more than 25 countries. Assignments included major breaking news throughout Western Europe, and conflict and instability zones including Kosovo, Iraq; and Pakistan, the West Bank, Sierra Leone and northern Uganda. His co-authored book, Transforming Lives: Turning Uganda's Forgotten Children Into Leaders, was shortlisted for a Benjamin Franklin Award.
