Peter Doran

I am a lecturer at the School of Law at Queens University Belfast contributing to teaching on the environment, human rights, contemporary issues in property law and the law of the commons. My recent research focused on wellbeing policy and outcomes in the Northern Ireland Programme for Government.

My new book from Routledge is A Political Economy of Attention, Mindfulness and Consumerism: Reclaiming the Mindful Commons (2017). This book brings together my interests in the contemplative commons, ecology and consumerism.
