Peter Rogers is Professor of Biological Psychology at the University of Bristol, UK. He trained in biology (BSc) and experimental psychology (MSc) at the University of Sussex. He completed his PhD at the University of Leeds, and postdoctoral research at the universities of Leeds and Manchester, moving to the Institute of Food Research, Reading in 1990. He moved to the University of Bristol in 1999, where he teaches biological psychology. His research focuses on nutrition and behaviour, including studies on human appetite and weight control, food choice, dietary effects on mood and cognitive function, low-calorie sweeteners, and the psychopharmacology of caffeine. He is a Chartered Psychologist, a Fellow of the British Psychological Society, and a Registered Nutritionist. His publications include over 200 peer-review journal papers.
