Peter Turchin

Peter Turchin is Project Leader of Social Complexity and Collapse at Complexity Science Hub Vienna and Professor at the University of Connecticut. He is interested in understanding the evolutionary processes responsible for the emergence of complex societies in human history and the resilience of complex societies to internal and external shocks.
