Biostatistician, University of Sydney

Dr Philip Clare (PhD, MBiostats) is a biostatistician and epidemiologist, specialising in the alcohol and other behavioural risk factors and their effects on health. He has a particular interest in the initiation of alcohol in adolescents, and the emergence of risky and other behaviours and their short and long-term effects. He is currently a biostatistician at the Prevention Research Collaboration in the Charles Perkins Centre, UNSW Sydney.

He completed his PhD in 2020 in Epidemiology/Applied Statistics at the National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre, and his Masters in Biostatistics at the University of Sydney in 2015. He has over seven years of experience as a consulting biostatistician at UNSW Sydney and the University of Sydney.
