Philippe Roudier

Chargé de recherche agriculture, climat et sécurité alimentaire, Agence française de développement (AFD)

Je suis spécialisé sur les liens entre climat, agriculture et ressource en eau dans les pays du Sud, et spécialement en Afrique sub-saharienne.

Philippe Roudier is a Research Officer at Agence Française de Développement and a specialist on climate and agriculture issues in developping countries. He is an engineer in water resources management and holds a PhD in Environmental Economics from the School for Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences (Paris). Prior to his current position, he was a catastrophe modeler in the field of reinsurance and, before that, a scientific project officer for the European Union (Climate Risk Unit). At the same time, he has also conducted various consultancy missions for NGOs and the United Nations. His research has been published in a dozen or so international reviews and is incorporated in IPCC reports.
