Prasad Hegde

Prasad is a Lecturer at the finance department in Auckland University of Technology (AUT) Business School and a Research Fellow at the Auckland Centre for Financial Research (ACFR). His research and teaching interests span topics in investments and empirical finance. Prasad’s research work has been published in peer reviewed academic journals. He teaches corporate finance and international finance for bachelor’s and Post Graduate students in AUT.
Prasad holds a PhD from Purdue University, USA and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Finance from India. Prasad also holds Financial Risk Management (FRM) certification awarded by Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) and he is a CFA Level II candidate. During his spare time Prasad likes to play cricket and squash.
