Priscilla Ferrazzi

Priscilla Ferrazzi is a long-time lawyer affiliated with both Queen’s University and the University of Alberta. She is a legal advisor and research contracts associate in the contracts unit of the Office of Partnerships and Innovation at Queen’s University and is an Adjunct Professor in the School of Public Health and Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Alberta. Priscilla is also an executive member of the Canadian Society for Circumpolar Health. By way of academic background, Priscilla completed a CIHR-funded Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Alberta, a SSHRC-funded PhD at Queen’s University, a Master and Bachelor of Laws at Queen’s University, and a Bachelor of Arts at Trent University. Priscilla’s research interests are at the intersection of law and mental health with a focus on courts in the Arctic. Her recent work has explored Inuit cultural knowledge as a research methodology, the blending of Inuit and Western knowledge and ethics in Inuit research training, and the integration of Inuit and Western education frameworks for collaborative public legal education in Nunavut.
