PhD Candidate, Food & Resource Economics Group, University of British Columbia

I am a PhD Candidate in the Food & Resource Economics Group at the Faculty of Land and Food Systems, UBC. My research interests span environmental and development economics. Specifically, I study the environmental and ecological costs of expansive economic activity, primarily in developing countries. I use tools from economics to quantify these relationships.

Prior to my PhD studies I completed a M.A. and B.A. in Economics as well as a pre-doctoral fellowship at the Harvard Kennedy School. I was also a Research Associate at J-PAL South Asia where I worked on designing a pilot cap-and-trade program for India.
