After a M.Sc. degree in Mathematics, I did a Ph.D. degree in Sociology. Thesis Title : Irrigation et pouvoir social en Égypte (Irrigation and Social Power in Egypt). Author of : Interpreting Quantitative Data with IBM SPSS (2nd Edition), SAGE, London (UK), 2013. Published articles on Middle East societies (on Ethnicity in the Middle East, Human Rights and cultural specificity, Civil Society in the Arab World), on Water issues in Egypt and the Middle East, on Arabs in Canada (ethnicity, discrimination), on the Palestinian Israeli conflict.
