Rachel A. Davis, MD is Associate Professor of Psychiatry with a secondary appointment in Neurosurgery at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus School of Medicine, where she serves as Vice Chair for Clinical Affairs and Strategy in the Department of Psychiatry. She is Service Director of Psychiatric Neuromodulation, Co-Director of the OCD Surgical Program (with Dr. Steven Ojemann, Neurosurgery), and Medical Director of the OCD Program.

Dr. Davis specializes in Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) for refractory, severe OCD, and CU Anschutz/UCHealth is one of just a few academic centers in the world providing this treatment. Her team has written and published about the "real-world" experience of their patients who also have other mental health conditions who undergo DBS surgery for OCD. She is interested in the use of DBS for other severe and refractory psychiatric illnesses and is Principal Investigator on a National Institutes of Health BRAIN initiative, studying the ethics of DBS in Schizophrenia.
