I have always been passionate about contributing to improving the health and quality of individuals lives. This interest first brought me to the field of Public Health, which I obtained my undergraduate degree in. Throughout my education in public health, I was exposed to the field of Gerontology, which quickly took me by surprise. Gerontology seemed to be a natural fit for me as I’ve always been so proud of my connections with my grandparents and have had an affinity in the aging process as long as I can remember. I was so vastly intrigued that I decided to pursue a Master's Degree that focuses on the health and well-being of older adults. I have experience working in the area of intergenerational connections and relationships as well as focusing on how older adults feel about the environment they are aging in while applying an intersectional lens.
