Ramanditya is a PhD student at United Nations University Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability (UNU-IAS). He is also a Fulbright Scholar as he holds master of urban planning from University at Buffalo, the State University of New York, New York. He is a research fellow at Resilience Development Initiative, Bandung, Indonesia, where he researches on disaster risk management and climate change adaptation. He is currently developing his research interest in low carbon development, urban governance and environmental policy. Previously, he has worked for several consultancy projects for these issues with international Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) local governments in Indonesia. He also acts as a volunteer for Bandung Disaster Study Group that he delivers disaster preparedness education for children and youth in West Java.
