Ransford Edward Gyampo

Ransford Edward Van Gyampo holds a PhD in Political Science. He is an Associate Professor of Political Science and Director of the Centre for European Studies at the University of Ghana. His research interests are in the areas of promoting democracy and good governance in Africa; ensuring the reformation and fine-tuning of electoral processes and electoral politics in Ghana and Africa; promoting inclusivity in governance and nation-building by dealing with the polarizing practices of Winner-Takes-All Politics in Ghana and Africa; Natural Resource Governance and Management in Ghana and Africa; Youth Development and Participation in Ghana and Africa; and European Studies, with special focus on how Europe relates with Africa, politically, economically and socio-culturally.
