PhD Student in Psychological Medicine, King's College London

Hi!

I am a Lebanese (human being) living in London. I am currently a second year PhD student in Psychological Medicine at King's College London. My research focuses on the neuroscience of eating disorders, and I get the chance to work with the UK's greatest eating disorder experts. The second biggest hobby of mine is writing and performing poetry. As the treasurer of King's Poetry Society and the collaborations coordinator of London Queer Writers, I spend most of my free time at poetry events.

I am excited about writing articles for The Conversation because this platform allows me to merge the two loves of my lives- science and expressive writing.

Feel free to get in touch with me on chami.rayanne@gmail.com if you have any questions.
