Rebecca Clements

Postdoctoral Research Associate, Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning, University of Sydney

Rebecca Clements is a Henry Halloran Trust Postdoctoral Research Associate with the Infrastructure Governance Incubator at the School of Architecture, Design and Planning, University of Sydney. Her work focuses on transport and infrastructure governance, car parking policy (in Australian and Japanese cities), and issues of transport justice, accessibility, and social equity, particularly concerning the conflicts between urban transitions and car dominance.

She has previously worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Melbourne on projects concerning urban climate change policy, affordable housing, disaster risk resilience and level crossing removal, as well as teaching in areas such as transport politics, strategic planning, and urban history. She also works as a cartoonist and illustrator.
