Lecturer in Psychology, University of Dundee

I study chimpanzee and children in experimental resource dilemmas designed to model the tragedy of the commons as a means of gaining insight into the evolutionary and developmental roots of our strategies for overcoming these insidious dilemmas. I also study the development across cultures of delay of gratification skills, particularly when children are socially interdependent upon one another.
