Rebecca Rooney

I’m a wetland ecologist and Associate Professor at the University of Waterloo, in the Department of Biology. There, I have trained over 20 graduate students and taught more that 2000 undergraduates in Ecology and Conservation Biology. I study aquatic ecosystems, the functions and values that they provide society and how we can restore and protect them.
