Rebecca Sawiuk

Rebecca Sawiuk is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Hertfordshire in Sports Coaching. Her PhD focuses on the concept of formal mentoring and developmental networks in high-performance coach education and development. Rebecca is currently one of very few female coaches within the world of football to hold both the prestigious UEFA A Licence and the FA Advanced Youth Licence. Throughout her coaching career she has held a number of roles where she has worked within both the high-performance and youth development contents. Some of her roles have included working with a boy’s academy at a Premier League club, Technical Director of a girls Regional Talent club, Women’s Championship Manager and as a Technical Coach for the Football Associations National Pathway.
