Renee Irvin, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor, Associate School Head, and Director of the University of Oregon Master of Nonprofit Management Program in the School of Planning, Public Policy and Management at the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon. She earned a doctorate in economics from the University of Washington, Seattle. She researches the economics of the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors. This includes regulatory oversight of nonprofits, endowment funding, comparative nonprofit/for-profit outcomes, philanthropy, and nonprofit financial management. She is president of the Nonprofit Academic Centers Council.
