My research focuses on the relationship between immigration and inequality. I examine the education and labour market outcomes and subjective well-being of immigrants and their children in the UK, the United States, and Germany, to answer such questions as "Do student migrants obtain credentials and go on to acquire good jobs in the UK?", "Do the children of immigrants in the US whose parents were undocumented engage differently in school, work, and politics?" and "How do state-priveleged immigrants, such as ethnic Germans, fare relative to labour migrants in Germany?" To answer these questions I rely on quantitative analysis.
