Reza Gholami

Professor of Sociology of Education, University of Birmingham

Reza Gholami is Professor of Sociology of Education and Deputy Director of the Centre for Research in Race and Education (CRRE) at the University of Birmingham, UK. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and Senior Honorary Research Associate at the UCL Institution of Education. His research focuses on educational inequities, particularly related to Islamophobia and racism, as well as non-formal and community-based forms of education.
