Rhoda Afriyie Mensah

I am Dr. Rhoda Afriyie Mensah, a Researcher in the Division of Structural and Fire Engineering at Luleå University of Technology in Sweden. I possess a robust academic and professional background in fire safety engineering. I earned my PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Nanjing University of Science and Technology in China, specializing in fire safety and thermal analysis of structural materials. In my research role at LTU, I have done extensive work in material fire testing and enhancing the fire safety of materials, which has significantly advanced the field of fire safety. I teach fundamental fire engineering calculations and coordinate activities in the fire protection engineering laboratory at LTU. I am skilled in teaching and mentoring, having successfully guided numerous undergraduate and graduate students through research projects in fire protection engineering.
