I explore topics related to leadership and individual differences, non-market strategy, and entrepreneurship. I am fascinated by the intersection of business and economics as well as the resulting implications for government policy. Among other outlets, my work has been published in Journal of Small Business Management and Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes. Prior to joining academia, I worked in education as a school teacher in an urban district and also spent time abroad. I enjoy traveling, being on the water, playing guitar, and spending time with my dogs.
