Richard A. Devine

Assistant Professor of Management, DePaul University

I explore topics related to non-market strategy and entrepreneurship. I am fascinated by the intersection of business and economics as well as the resulting implications for government policy. I am also interested in exploring social issues in management and entrepreneurship as well as underlying dynamics of grand challenges in society. Among other outlets, my work has been published in Journal of Small Business Management, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, and Academy of Management Journal. Prior to joining academia, I held a number of professional roles both in the public and private sector. I enjoy traveling, being on the water, and spending time with my dogs.
