Richard Cleminson

Reader in Hispanic Studies, University of Leeds

Dr Richard Cleminson is a Reader in Hispanic Studies. He specialises in the history of sexuality in Spain, Portugal and Latin America. Some of his research interests within this field include the anarchist movement in Spain, the history of male homosexuality, and eugenics, to name (but) a few. His and Francisco Vázquez's celebrated book Los Invisibles: A History of Male Homosexuality in Spain , 1850-1940 has recently been translated into Spanish.
