My research interests lie in the politics and history of the British Labour Party. My PhD 'Nostalgia and the Post-war Labour Party, 1951-83' (University of Bristol, 2012) examined the extent to which nostalgia shaped the modernisation process in the party during these years.

I have published articles on Labour's historic relationship with nostalgia and on the party's recent political trajectory. I previously worked as Teaching Fellow in Contemporary Political History at the University of Bristol, where I taught a range of units on political and historical themes.
