His research interests include supernova progenitors and explosion physics, especially peculiar supernovae Ia; multi-wavelength observations of active galactic nuclei; time-variable and transient astrophysical phenomena; wide-area astronomical surveys; citizen science; gamma-ray astronomy; cosmology.
