Richard Thomas

I am a chemist with a PhD from Cardiff University and archaeological scientist with specialist research interests in the application of remote sensing . I have 20 years experience in science based study of Early Bronze Age metallurgy and have been involved in work on radiogenic isotope study of population dynamics. More recently, I have been involved in horticultural research particularly in regard to the use of Ground Penetrating Radar, resistivity and conductivity measurements and satellite image analysis for study of crop dynamics and disease in economically important crops.

As an archaeologist, since arriving in Australia, I have been involved in the study of the Hindu/ Buddhist architecture of Southeast Asai, particularly Vietam
