I have written several books on Australian social history. The last was Witnesses to War which was co-authored with Fay Anderson and dealt with Australia's war correspondents. In March 2016 my new book co-authored with Noah Riseman will appear. This is called Defending Country and is the story of Australia's Indigenous soldiers.
