PhD undertaken at University of Strathclyde and sponsored by Airbus Group. Research focussed on development of novel methods for diagnosing faults within aircraft electrical systems. In particular, the PhD developed machine learning based algorithms for the detection of difficult to detect series arc fault conditions. Various refereed journal and conference papers were published as part of this work.
