Rosalind Kennerley

Co-Chair of the IUCN SSC Small Mammal Specialist Group, International Union for the Conservation of Nature

I have extensive experience within NGOs and academia, with a wealth of experience conducting fieldwork and managing conservation projects both in the UK and internationally on a range of threatened species and in a variety of habitats. I have in-depth knowledge of conservation issues, which includes considerable practical and research experience.
I am the Co-Chair of the IUCN SSC Small Mammal Specialist Group, representing over half of the world's mammals. Through this position and as a member of the IUCN SSC Species Monitoring Specialist Group, I am fortunate to be part of an important international conservation network and consequently have access to a vast resource of connections and information.
I am also an independent biodiversity consultant. I previously worked as a Principal Environmental Consultant at Nature Positive, a company which helps businesses to understand how they both rely on and impact the natural world, and to develop strategies to leave a positive legacy.
