Research Assistant in Geography, University of Manchester

I am a human geographer who recently graduated from the University of Manchester, and I specialise in urban environments, sustainable governance and socio-spatial justice. My recent work explores everyday water consumption practices, grassroots activism and urban gardening in the UK, often applying critical urban theory and themes of race, gender and class to think about the contradictions in sustainable development and how different stakeholders can provide holistic solutions to this.

I'm currently working with the sustainable assessment organisation BREEAM, contributing to the research and development of social value KPI'S to address social inequity within the built environment, and working with BRE's international partners to contribute to the use of BREEAM globally. I am also a qualified BREEAM Associate and International New Construction Assessor.
